Joan Morgan has loved art since her first painting at the age of six. She likes to let the bright, vivid colors flow onto the paper in joyful, spontaneous strokes. Not at all concerned with details, her works are impressionistic, happy, almost whimsical at times.
Joan has studied at the Atlanta College of Art as well as with the late Claude Croney, AWS. A number of Ms. Morgan's paintings are available in limited edition lithographs. Her paintings are in collections all over the world.
A native of Atlanta, Georgia, she now spends summers in the mountains of North Carolina, and opens her gallery in Cedar Key, Florida from mid-December through April.
